Cloth binding is the foundation for nearly all bookbinding projects.  In this class you will make flat back cloth bindings, a serial binding and a rounded and back cloth case bindings.  We’ll discuss selection of materials, proper tool use, and proper bookbinding techniques. 


This course will prepare you for courses on leather bookbinding and book repair. 


A tool list will be provided.


The cost is $525, which includes all materials.
